You can hire bats at reception — and we’re enticing a guy to come now and then to teach us the rules and help us hit the ball. We’re mostly beginners, so if you haven’t played before, or you’re not sure whether pickleball is for you, now’s the time to give it a try. Meanwhile, a few of us are meeting occasionally when we can get a court at short notice (for four players only), so say if you want to be kept informed of when we have places available.
